What UGC Factory is
User-generated content — a person talking to their phone about something they bought — is the ad format that feels least like an ad, which is exactly why it works. The hard part has always been getting it made: finding creators, sending product, waiting for a take you can use.
UGC Factory makes that take in minutes. You choose who is on screen, what they say and how it sounds; the studio renders a video of them saying it, with their mouth matched to every word.
Good for
- TikTok, Reels and Shorts ads that need a face in the first second
- Product explainers and unboxing-style scripts
- Testing several hooks against each other without a reshoot
- Running the same ad in other languages, lip-synced
How it works, in four steps
- 1
Choose who is on screen
Pick one of 7,800+ ready-made actors, upload a photo, or describe a new person and have one made.
- 2
Write what they say
Type a script — or upload or record your own voice and skip the script entirely.
- 3
Set the voice, length and shape
Pick a voice, a length of 10, 15 or 30 seconds, burned-in subtitles, and a 9:16, 4:5 or 1:1 frame.
- 4
Make the video
It renders in a few minutes while you do something else. Download it, or translate it into another language.
Pick an actor
The studio opens on the roster: 7,800+ actors filmed in real settings — offices, kitchens, living rooms. Filter to who you want, hover to see and hear someone before you spend anything, and click to choose.
Tip: match the setting to the product. An actor in a kitchen sells a blender better than one at a desk.
Use your own photo
Put your own face in the ad — or a teammate's, or a creator who has agreed to it. Upload one clear photo and it becomes the actor.
Only upload a photo of someone who has agreed to appear in your ads. Platforms treat a real person's face in a commercial as their endorsement — see the TikTok and FTC rules linked in the script section below.
Create a new actor
No photo, and nobody in the roster is quite right? Describe a person and the studio makes an original portrait — nobody else is using it, and it stays in your account to use again.

The control panel
Everything about the video itself lives in the control panel on the right. Here is each control, in the order you would use it.
- What they say
- Write it the way people talk. The counter shows the characters and roughly how many seconds that is — about 15 characters a second.
- Or use your own voice
- Audio uploads a voiceover and Record captures one in the browser; the actor lip-syncs to it and no script is needed. Audio and Record are part of the Pro plan.
- Pick a voice
- Filter 2,900+ voices by language, search by name, and press play to hear one before you choose.
- Choose a length
- Each length has its own price, shown on the button: 15 seconds costs 59 credits.
- Put the words on screen
- Most feeds play muted. Burned-in subtitles cost nothing extra, and you get a subtitle file either way. Burned-in subtitles are part of the Starter plan.
- Choose the shape
- 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts; 4:5 for the feed; 1:1 where a square still wins. Framing decides the rest: Fill the frame crops a wide actor to fill a vertical video, Whole shot keeps everything and adds bars — the little preview shows which before you pay.
Your renders and translations
Videos render in the background. You can close the page — they keep going and land in Your renders and in your library.
Write a script that sells
The studio makes the video; the script is what makes it sell. What works:
1Hook in the first two seconds
Open with the problem or the surprise, not the brand: “I stopped buying coffee pods after this.”
2Write it the way people talk
Short sentences, everyday words, one idea at a time. Read it out loud — if you stumble, the actor will sound stiff.
3Fit the length
About 15 characters make one second, so a 10-second video holds roughly 150 characters. The counter warns you when a script will not fit.
4Give one reason to buy
One benefit said clearly beats five listed quickly.
5End with what to do
“Tap Shop now”, “link's in the caption” — say it, and put it in the post caption too.
6Claim only what you can prove
An ad is still an ad when a person says it. Endorsement rules apply to it, and platforms ask you to label realistic AI-generated people.
What it costs
UGC Factory spends credits from the same balance as every other studio. These are the studio's current prices.
UGC Factory is included from the Starter plan.
| What you make | Credits |
|---|---|
| A 10-second video | 39 |
| A 15-second video | 59 |
| A 30-second video | 115 |
| A new actor (Create new actor) | 5 |
| Translation, per language, for a 10-second video | 22 |

Questions people ask
Are the actors real people?+
They are AI avatars — realistic, but generated. They have not used your product, so present the video as an ad and label it as AI-generated wherever the platform asks.
Can I use my own voice?+
Yes. Choose Audio to upload a voiceover or Record to speak into your microphone. The actor lip-syncs to your voice and no script is needed. Which modes you have depends on your plan.
How long does a video take?+
Usually a few minutes. You can close the page — the render carries on and appears in Your renders and your library.
What happens if a render fails?+
The credits come back automatically, and the card says so.
Can I upload a photo of someone else?+
Only with their permission. Their face will say whatever your script says, in an ad — get their agreement first.
Which languages can it speak?+
Voices are available in 32 languages, and a finished video can be translated into 190 languages with the mouth matched again.
What do I get to download?+
The video in the shape you chose — 9:16, 4:5 or 1:1 — plus a subtitle file for editing elsewhere.
