Test the words, not the whole ad

Headline Variants gives you the same ad with up to 6 different headlines. Nothing else moves, so when one wins you know exactly why.

What Headline Variants does

Most ad tests change the picture, the colours and the words at once, so the result can’t tell you what worked. Here only the headline changes. The photo, layout, fonts and button are the same in every version.

Let it write the headlines — each from a different selling angle and about the length of your original so it fits — or type your own and it sets them exactly as written.

Good for

  • Finding the hook before you scale spend
  • Refreshing an ad that has gone stale
  • Trying a price, benefit or urgency angle
  • Settling a debate about wording with data

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Add the ad to test

Upload it or pick one from your library.

  2. 2

    Write or type

Let it write headlines from different angles, or type your own — one per line.

  3. 3

    Choose how many

Up to 6. Four is a good test.

  4. 4

    Run them side by side

Same budget, same audience — keep the winner.

Watch it work

The Headline Variants screen as you will see it, playing one real run from start to finish.

Real results

Two ads, each set with four headlines written from different angles.

Every picture and clip here was made by the tool itself, from the photo or ad shown beside it — nothing retouched.

Running a fair test

The variants do half the work. The other half is how you run them.

  • Change one thing

Keep the audience, budget and placement identical across the versions.

  • Give it enough time

Wait for a few hundred clicks per version before you call it.

  • Judge by what you sell

Clicks are a hint; purchases or cost per sale decide.

Sizes and shapes

Your ad keeps its own shape. It is drawn exactly in any of these: 1:1, 4:5, 2:3, 3:4, 9:16, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9.

  • 1:1
  • 4:5
  • 2:3
  • 3:4
  • 9:16
  • 3:2
  • 4:3
  • 16:9

Every result is measured when it comes back. One that isn’t the shape you chose is never delivered — its credits come back — and a shape the tool can’t draw exactly is refused before anything is charged.

Tips for better results

  1. 1Test angles, not synonyms

“Saves time” against “Looks premium” teaches you more than two ways of saying the same thing.

  2. 2Keep it about as long

A headline that fits the space keeps the layout clean.

  3. 3Name the audience

A note like “for busy parents” sharpens every headline it writes.

  4. 4Keep the winner, test again

Use the winner as the next original and beat it.

What it costs

The price is on the button before you press, and credits come off only when the run starts. One Headline Variants run starts at 6 credits.

Questions people ask

Does anything but the headline change?+

No — photo, layout, fonts and button stay the same, so the test is fair.

Can I use my own headlines?+

Yes. Type them one per line and they are set exactly as written — and it costs less, because nothing is written for you.

Which language are they written in?+

The ad’s own, unless you name another.

How many should I test?+

Three or four. More splits your budget too thin to learn anything.

What if one of them doesn’t render?+

You get the rest, and that one’s credits come back.
